I bought it because a magnize rate it as Best Buy. But, I believe it is the Worst Buy. It is broken just after one month. I used it at most 1o times. No more than 30 minutes. The motor stops running.
It is warranty for ecchnage. But, unlike others (just cut the plug with with some # on it), it asks me to ship the whole blender for exchange. I bought it for $35, In order to ship the broken item, I ahve to pay extra $15 shipping fee. It makes it very expensive.
As for uasge, it only good for blending liquid not for ice. It is unable to crach big block of ice.

I've had this for a few years now, and for the most part, this blender is awesome. I've had expensive blenders that died crushing ice, or the trendy beehive one that has a tragic single point failure, a tiny hard plastic disc that cracked immediately and cannot be replaced. This one is the only blender I've tried that can crush ice in moments. This is due to extra blade points on a third level. Most blenders have blades that point up or down or in the middle, usually two out of three. This Kalorik has blades at all three levels and a really powerful motor.

My biggest compliant actually is the super strength of the motor and the simplicity of the settings. The lid snaps on with a super tight seal--a good thing--because the motor is so strong and the settings--on, off, pulse--way too simple. There's no slow or low-speed setting. No matter how little fluid is in there, it will be sprayed all over the inside of the glass jar with a flick of the switch. Once on, however, it settles into an even, if not top speed, flow. If you're making a smoothie, pop out only the smaller inner clear plastic top from the center of the lid and add ingredients, like ice cubes or frozen fruit, and you should have few splashes unless it's a freak wave.

Also learned the hard way that that top is SO snug, you need to have the center piece removed to puree hot soups. Otherwise, the pressure from the heat makes that lid fairly explode off when you turn on the blender. Not my favorite method for pureeing soups (immersion blender way better) but fair warning or end like me cleaning hot soup from all over the kitchen!

For a good powerful bar blender or (the real reason I bought it) making thick milkshakes and smoothies, you'd be hard pressed to find a better workhorse in the kitchen.
